The DAG Sheep Station

It all began with a song. While recording recently with Shane Nicholson in Melbourne Australia, we sat together discussing songwriting and learning the creative craft. The DAG Sheep Station writers retreat was brought into the conversation.

The team down at Ziggy Tone Studios who have been to the retreat, said it was a memorable and creative experience. Collaborating with other artists and showcasing their work - They were right !

Winter retreat 2025 was a spiritual and deep learning experience in all things songwriting. The tutors - Luke O’Shea, Jeremy Edwards, Jen Mize, Kevin Bennet, Ashleigh Dallas and Shane Nicholson on the first evening made their introduction with a speech and song. We were all encapsulated and you could feel the energy growing.

Everyone was invited to perform and it was the beginning of a great retreat. A great insight into songwriting, working along side the tutors and collaborating with other artists.
